Holly Robinson Peete first appeared on “Sesame Street” at the age of four. She went on to star as Officer Judy Hoffs on the hit series “21 Jump Street,” and the long-running sitcoms “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” “For Your Love” and “One on One.”

Holly also authored the book, “Get Your Own Damn Beer, I’m Watching the Game: A Women’s Guide to Loving Pro Football,” (Rodale), which was released in 2005, and won a 2006 Quill Literacy Award in the sports category. She currently is working on a children’s book.

Holly believes profoundly in the power of philanthropy and has received numerous awards and honors over the years for her incredible philanthropic deeds. In 1996, Holly and her husband, Rodney Peete, a former NFL quarterback, formed a non-profit foundation, HollyRod, with a mission to help improve the quality of life of people plagued with devastating life circumstances, such as the children in the Gulf Coast post-Katrina and those who live in several townships surrounding the areas of Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.
