Raven-Symoné
Raven-Symoné
Raven-Symoné is best known for her role in the Emmy-nominated comedy series “That’s So Raven” for the Disney Channel. Her role as ‘Raven’ garnered two NAACP Image Awards for “Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s series/special”; two Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards for “Favorite Television Actress”; and a Young Artist Award for “Outstanding Young Performer.”
As an entrepreneur, Symoné created a “how-to” online destination for teens and tweens called RavenSymonePresents.com. The site features video clips of Symoné demonstrating an array of tips and project ideas for fans.
She is active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Girls Incorporated, and the L.A.-based nonprofit Aviva Family and Children’s Services honored her with their “Spirit of Compassion Award” in 2006 for her work with that organization.
Symoné will next star in Roger Kumble’s “College Road Trip” opposite Martin Lawrence. Additionally, in March 2008, she will release her fourth solo album on Hollywood Records.
Why do I support Ronald McDonald House Charities?
“I help charities because I believe that an organization that is so selfless to help others deserves recognition through money or my support.”
— Raven-Symoné
