When Jill Wallace found out that her three-year-old daughter, Evan, had leukemia she wished she had super mom powers that could make everything better. But Evan's illness required some of the best doctors in one of the best children's hospitals, far away from her home.
"I had heard of Ronald McDonald Houses before, but I didn't really know what they were, how they helped, or how much my family would need one," recalled Jill.

As Evan received critical chemo therapy treatments and a stem cell transplant, the Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta stepped in, keeping Jill and her family together, helping her pick up the pieces, and giving Evan the strength to fight and beat cancer.

Thank You, Dillard's!

Finding Aloha

In Hawaiian 'Aloha' means peace, compassion, and mercy. When the Ko'omoa family had to travel from Maui to Honolulu to treat Ikaika's rare form of cancer, RMHC Hawaii opened the doors of their Ronald McDonald House and gave them the most sincere form of aloha around.
