Sometimes, an image is worth a thousand words. In this case, it’s worth a million.
 
On August 9, Conner ran out of the isolation ward at Cook Children’s Medical Center surrounded by his doctors and nurses, cheering his recovery from neuroblastoma. That day, Conner moved into the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth, going from isolation to togetherness.

Togetherness helped him get over that last hurdle. This October, Conner went home, healthy and happy.
