Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is committed to providing clean and healthy family-centered spaces for families to rest, recharge and connect with one another around the world.

The health and well-being of our guest families, staff and the communities in which we serve is, and always will be, our first priority.  Therefore, in order to prevent exposure and the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are temporarily suspending acceptance of new families into Ronald McDonald House programs.  We remain focused on our core mission of providing overnight accommodations, meals and support for the families currently staying at our Houses.  In addition, we are working with hospital partners to temporarily re-purpose RMHC in-hospital program spaces to provide places of respite for healthcare professionals who are tirelessly working the frontlines of this pandemic.

We will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and follow the guidance and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), local State Departments, local hospital partners and Health Ministries.

What you can do to help:
As an organization that relies on over 580,000 volunteers and millions of donors, just like you, around the world to help deliver our mission, many Chapters are experiencing implications to volunteer programs and cancellation of fundraising events. As such, you can help provide support by visiting RMHC.org and searching for your local Chapter to learn what items are needed or make a monetary donation.  Our RMHC programs also rely heavily on in-kind donations such as food items and cleaning products. If your company or organization is interested in supporting these efforts on a national or global scale, please contact us directly at corporatepartnerships@rmhc.org.
